Personality Traits Mediating Sense of Belonging and Academic Curiosity among Students in Ghana

The sense of being part a learning community is known explanatory variable for learners’ explorative behaviors, but the extent to which this explanation interferes with stable characteristics appears inconclusive. Therefore, study examined mediating roles personality traits in relationship between belonging and academic curiosity. A sample 400 high school students was randomly selected respond adapted versions Big Five Personality Inventory, Psychological Sense School Membership Scale, 5-Dimensional Curiosity Scale. data collected scales were analyzed inferentially using structural equation modeling. found that open-mindedness agreeableness predicted curiosity, not all dimensions mediated For example, open-mindedness, conscientiousness, agreeableness, neuroticism In regard, degree tend have well-developed curiosity since they be open-minded, conscientious, agreeable, emotionally stable. authorities should use traits, belonging, profiling programs.
